We have been to Iceland two times and each time stayed at Kalastadir.  The cottages are absolutely wonderful, well planned,decorated and furnished beautifully and with a breath taking view out front with the fjord sparkling just a short distance away.  The cottages are so well situated in close proximity to all the highlights that Iceland has to offer!! The owners are the kindest sweetest people you could ever meet and you instantly feel at home in their cottages!!! Staying at Kalastadir is like getting a little sneak of heaven while you are still here on earth!!!! The cottages way exceed a 5 star rating!!!! A place you must stay for sure!!!!
